Spanish startup Innomy, a company developing mycelium-based meat alternatives, announced it has raised EUR 1.3 million (~USD 1.3 million) in a Pre Series A funding round co-led by Corporacion Cervino, Rockstart, Zubi Capital, Eatable Adventures, and the National Center for Technology and Food Safety (CNTA).
The funding is intended to be used for scaling, promoting, and marketing its products in the European market.
Innomy, founded in 2021, is a part of the Spain Foodtech accelerator developed jointly by Eatbale Adventures, the Spanish import and export authority (ICEX), CNTA, and Rockstart’s agri-food program. The company specializes in using fungi and biotechnology to develop mycelium-based meat alternatives. While its products have not been commercialized yet pre-sales have been initiated on its website.
