Raven SR signs MoU with EFT to jointly develop SAF and renewable diesel

Partnerships

  • Raven SR, a producer of hydrogen-rich syngas, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Emerging Fuels Technology (EFT), a producer of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), to jointly develop SAF and renewable diesel.

  • The agreement will integrate Raven SR’s proprietary non-combustion equilibrium Steam/CO2 Reforming process with EFT’s patented Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and Maxx Jet/ Maxx Diesel technology. This will allow the two companies to jointly produce synthetic fuel at a commercial scale within small and modular systems.

  • Analyst QuickTake: In August 2022, Raven SR signed an MoU with Howden , a Scottish engineering provider of air and gas handling products, to provide compressor systems for Raven’s hydrogen fuel production facilities. During the same month, Raven SR also partnered with INNIO , an Austrian producer of reciprocating gas engines, to deploy INNIO’s Jenbacher Ready-for-H2 engines to produce renewable energy at Raven SR’s waste-to-hydrogen plant in California.
