Geographic expansion
Partnerships

  • Serve Robotics, a spin-off from Uber that operates delivery droids, has revealed plans to expand its partnership with Uber Eats to offer droid-based food deliveries for the latter’s customers in Australia.

  • Neither party has commented on the timeline of the launch yet.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Today’s news on geographic expansionhighlights the success of Serve Robotics’ and Uber Eats’ initial launch in the US. Serve Robotics first announced the partnership with Uber Eats in November last year to offer droid-based on-demand food delivery to Uber Eats customers, starting from Los Angeles, California. The project went live this May and the duo is currently delivering food orders from local merchants in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles.
