Seurat technologies, a provider of on-demand additive manufacturing services, has announced that it is looking to establish a full-scale factory as customer demand has exceeded pilot factory production targets.
The new 100,000 sq ft factory will be based in the Boston area with a capacity of over 500 tons of metal parts per year. The factory will be fully powered by green energy.
The move to build a new factory comes as Seurat has received three Letters of Intent (LOI) from global manufacturers to make 25 tons of metal parts that fill the company’s pilot facility.
