Israeli plant-based meat producer Redefine Meats unveiled five new products, including its first ever pulled meat range-–aimed at foodservice—featuring pulled beef, lamb, and pork. According to the company the vegan range of pulled meats can be prepared faster compared to slow cooking traditional meats thereby reducing cooking time to minutes from hours.
Redefine also introduced two new plant-based premium cuts, tenderloin and striploin, which are built on the success of the company’s flank steaks. The company claims these cuts have a similar texture and characteristics as that of real beef. All five products are now available in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and Israel for foodservice.
Further, the company announced it has entered a strategic partnership with Europe’s largest high-end meat importer, Giraudi Meats to help the company expand to over a dozen countries by incorporating Redefine’s New-Meat range into Giraudi’s portfolio. Further, Redefine’s products will also be added to Giraudi’s chain of BeefBar restaurants spanning across Europe.
