Dutch cell-cultured meat company, Mosa Meat, announced the development of its new industrial production facility, in proximity to its existing pilot facility in Maastricht, Netherlands, as the next step towards scaling up cultivated beef production.
The new 30,000 sq foot plant is expected to house industrial-size production lines capable of producing larger quantities of beef. This new addition will increase Mosa’s total production footprint to 77,000 sq feet which Mosa Meat CEO Maarten Bosh claims will make the company the world’s largest cultivated meat campus.
