CoolR Group, a Virginia-based developer of automated stocking and shelving solutions, has raised USD 10 million in a venture round led by the long-term VC investor First Analysis. Moneta Ventures and Remarkable Ventures also participated in the round.
The capital will be used to drive growth and invest in R&D.
CoolR provides IoT-based visual AI solutions for CPG brands and retailers. CoolR’s automated stocking and shelving unit Vista uses cameras and shelf sensors to detect out-of-stock, planogram non-compliance, foreign product contamination, and pricing inaccuracies, and also allows stores to keep track of how efficiently their coolers are operating. Vistas units come with shelf sensors and cameras. The company offers a commercial execution and analytics software platform, “Playbook”, that offers a variety of customizable dashboards.
