Banyan, a FinTech platform for consumer apps and services to access customers’ receipt data, has raised USD 43 million in a Series A funding round that consisted of USD 28 million in equity and USD 15 million in debt. The round was co-led by Fin Capital and M13 with participation from FIS Impact Ventures, TTV Capital, More than Capital, Manifold, Motivate Venture Capital, Elizabeth Street Ventures, and several angel investors. The funding round brings the company’s total funds raised to USD 53 million.
The funds will be invested in product research, development, and infrastructure growth and towards expanding Banyan’s headcount from 46 employees to 50 by the end of the year.
