Binary Defense Systems, a managed detection and response (MDR) startup, raised USD 36 million in a growth equity funding round led by Invictus Growth Partners.
The funds will be used to accelerate its sales and marketing to drive customer acquisition, expand machine learning capabilities, and broaden its partner ecosystem.

Founded in 2014, Binary Defense Systems which was previously bootstrapped provides an MDR platform that uses a human-driven (Security Operations Task Force) to proactively detect threats, investigate alerts, and recommend remediation actions to contain the threat. The company’s enterprise defense portfolio also comprises security information & event management (SIEM), advanced threat hunting, and counterintelligence.
