Huntress, a managed detection and response (MDR) startup for SMBs, has raised USD 40 million in debt financing from CIBC Innovation Banking. Huntress’s total funding now stands at nearly USD 100 million.
The funds will be utilized to accelerate M&A deals, research and development, and global expansion across Canada, UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: Huntress acquired the security awareness training platform Curricula for USD 22 million in July this year. This was Huntress’ second acquisition following the takeover of the endpoint detection and response (EDR) startup Level Effect in January 2021. The company also recorded an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of more than USD 10 million in 2021.</ul>
