Mem, a note-taking app, raised USD 23.5 million in a funding round led by OpenAI’s OpenAI Startup Fund. The round valued the company at USD 110 million. As a participant of OpenAI Startup Fund Mem will receive early access to new OpenAI systems and Azure resources from Microsoft in addition to financial backing.
The company recently launched Mem for Twitter, which enables users to save threads, receive AI-generated summaries of their content, and view similar Tweet suggestions. The company also plans to continue refining Mem X, its built-in work assistant, with new features that leverage AI to generate prompt-based text, file summaries and titles, and enable users to edit and format text using natural language commands.
