Planet Based Food partners with Kroger to expand retail network

Partnerships

  • Vancouver-based plant-based meats company Planet Based Global Foods Inc. has entered into a grocery distribution partnership with Kroger via its wholly-owned subsidiary Planet Based Foods.

  • The company’s gluten-free Southwest Taquitos, Original Taquitos, and Green Chile Southwest Hemp Burger can be found in the frozen section of 700 Korger stores spanning 10 Western states which include Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.

  • Through this partnership–marking the largest distribution expansion for the brand to date–Kroger became the first retailer to carry the brand’s taquitos.
