Robomart rebrands as Conjure; plans to launch store-hailing services in January

Product updates

  • Robomart, a developer of autonomous mobile minimarts, rebranded as “Conjure.” The company noted that the change in name now better reflects its patented store-hailing service experience.

  • The Conjure app is now available for pre-order on App Store and Google Play. The company plans to launch the service on the 15th of January next year in the Hollywood area in Los Angeles, California.

  • The company will first focus on its ice cream minimarts for the launch, featuring goods from its partner Unilever’s ice cream brands.

  • The store-hailing service will remain the same. Consumers can hail a mobile shop to their location using Conjure’s mobile app, and its patented, checkout-free system will track the items taken and charge the customers' credit cards.

  • The company has already conducted alpha and beta trials successfully. During the trials, it witnessed 9% user growth and 10% order growth per week, while the average number of times active users hailed a mobile store stood at 2.3 times a week.
