Vetster launches mobile app for veterinarians working remotely

Product updates

  • Vetster, a Canadian virtual veterinary and pet care marketplace, announced the launch of the Vetster for Veterinarians mobile app.

  • The solution is expected to increase the market reach of veterinarians and encourage the provision of virtual pet care. The platform features appointment management, high-definition video conferencing, direct messaging, electronic medical records, and VetsterRx, an online pet pharmacy that delivers pet medications to US customers, while in Canada and the UK veterinarians can provide a combined prescription (Rx or OTC) for customers to pick up from neighborhood pharmacies.

  • Currently, practicing veterinarians on Vetster can get the app through the App Store and Google Play Store.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Vetster wants to increase its market share by offering services to remote veterinary practitioners in key geographic areas. In August 2021, the business unveiled "VetsterRx," an online pharmacy that sends pet pharmaceuticals to US customers. In August 2022, it expanded its services to the UK in order to address the growing demand for telehealth services in the market.
