Telepsychiatry provider Quartet Health has launched a virtual clinic to treat patients diagnosed with moderate to serious mental illness (SMI). The clinic will treat users via measurement-based care, utilizing a multidisciplinary team that consists of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, clinical social workers, nurse care managers, and patient care coordinators. The services provided by the clinic will include biopsychosocial assessments, psychiatric evaluations, assistance with medication management, follow-up visits, and ongoing psychotherapy.
This announcement comes after Quartet Health announced its plans to acquire InnovelTelepsychiatry in December 2021 and leverages the integrated facilities of InnovelTelepsychiatry such as its psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and licensed clinical social workers.
Quartet Health currently has a team of over 200 clinicians, with 20,000 providers on its platform, and carries out services for over half a million patients annually. The company expects to treat over one million patients in 2023 and plans to increase the number of clinicians on its platform to 500 by the end of 2023.
