AMFG, a provider of software for additive manufacturing based in the UK, raised USD 8.5 million led by Intel Capital. With the funding round, Intel Capital investor Jennifer Ard will join AMFG’s board of directors.
The company plans to use the new funds to scale the company’s additive manufacturing processes and continue to expand its business reach.
Based in the UK, AMFG offers a manufacturing execution system (MES) and workflow automation software for additive manufacturing. Some of the use cases include rapid prototyping, spare parts, and serial production targeting automotive, industrial goods, consumer goods, and aerospace applications. AMFG has offices in the US, Germany, and Ukraine.
