Olo has announced a partnership with VROMO, a delivery management software provider, to be its technology partner for food delivery and driver management.
Olo’s subscription-based online ordering software helps restaurants process orders (from multiple food delivery platforms connected with Olo) and is streamlined to the restaurant’s point-of-sale (POS) system. With the partnership, Olo offers VROMO exposure to more restaurant partners, further increasing credibility, while VROMO offers Olo delivery management software to aggregate customer orders from restaurants. Via geofence technology, VROMO provides restaurants with more control over delivery, allowing for the location of pickups, real-time interaction with drivers, and the automatic dispatching of orders.
Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Dublin, VROMO (formerly WeBringg, rebranded in 2019) offers delivery management software for restaurants, cloud kitchens, and third-party food delivery platforms. The company expanded to the US in 2020 and currently operates in more than 250 cities on five continents.
Founded in 2005, Olo (an approximation of the words “online ordering”) offers restaurants a white-label platform to streamline their online customer orders to the restaurant’s POS. The platform has partnered with more than 300 restaurants (in approximately 70,000 locations across the US). The company claims it covers orders from more than 90% of the US population via multiple delivery providers.
