Estonian company Clevon (formerly Cleveron Mobility), a spin-off from Cleveron that provides ADVs for last-mile delivery, partnered with the City of Tallinn to pilot its ADVs in Old Town in Tallinn, Estonia over a two-month period.
Clevon branded ADVs will be used to deliver packages in the area during the pilot and will be conducted in partnership with logistics company DHL Express Estonia. The ADVs are allowed to operate one delivery droid at a time outside the town’s service hours such as between 6 am and 10 am.
Analyst QuickTake: Today’s pilot marks the second time Clevon works with DHL Express, following another pilot conducted using Clevon’s ADVs with DHL branding in June this year. Clevon also partnered with international parcel delivery company DPD to pilot ADVs in Estonia (September 2022) and the Netherlands (November 2021).
