Gadfin partners with SAREL to establish a drone-based delivery network for hospitals in Israel

Partnerships

  • Gadfin, an Israel-based developer of drones for aerial infrastructure surveys and delivery services, entered into a long-term exclusive partnership with SAREL, an Israel-based medical group purchasing organization (GPO) and logistics company, to establish a drone-based delivery network that connects major local hospitals within a 124-mile radius.

  • The first operational delivery line will cover a radius of up to 62 miles and will enable SAREL to have access to medical equipment, medicines, vaccines, blood, serum, lab samples, etc on a continuous basis. It is also reportedly the longest drone delivery line in the world.

  • Gadfin believes the project would reach up to 60 deliveries a day (or 21,000 deliveries per year) using 18 of its “Spirit One” drones within a span of three years.
