Silverpush, an AdTech solution specialized for connected TV (CTV) advertising, raised USD 12 million in a series C round led by JM Finance, bringing the total funds raised to USD 19.4 million.
Founded in Singapore, Silverpush provides a contextual video advertising platform, providing contextual insights to enable brands to place targeted ads without the need for third-party cookies. The firm’s “Mirrors” solution uses a proprietary AI technology to provide contextual-level ad placement while ensuring brand safety and ad suitability. The platform provides solutions to purchase, target, manage, and measure advertising campaigns. The firm also provides a TV ad sync solution where advertisers can sync digital ads with TV ads across social platforms, and display video ads in real time around live events, such as sporting events, by leveraging cross-screen behavior to provide contextual messaging. The firm's solutions are used by 150+ global brands, including Coca-Cola, Dyson, Ford, and Apple.
The funding is earmarked for driving its global expansion, particularly in the US.
Analyst QuickTake : Contextual advertising in CTV is a growing area of interest in advertising features for display-based advertising like CTV which may explain the funding secured by Silverpush. Another recent example is LightBox TV which secured GBP 1 million in seed funding to develop its CTV Intelligence platform.
