Moneyhub, an open finance infrastructure provider, raised GBP 15 million (USD 18 million) in funding from Phoenix Group, thereby closing a GBP 55 million funding round (which began in October 2022). The overall funding round also had participation from Legal & General and Lloyds Banking Group and brings Moneyhub’s total funds raised to USD 81.6 million.
The funds will be invested in product development and in expediting the internationalization of its platform.
Based in the UK, Moneyhub offers an API-based open finance infrastructure platform for a range of applications, including payments, data aggregation, affordability checking, analytics, and pensions dashboards, among others. Accordingly, it caters to a wide range of enterprises such as employee benefits, consultants, pension companies, wealth managers, lenders, retailers, and insurance companies.
