Lucid Group, a Nasdaq-listed passenger EV maker, raised ~USD 1.5 billion in funding, following the completion of an “at-the-market” equity offering program.
The company raised ~USD 600 million from the sale of 56.2 million shares of its common stock and expects to raise ~USD 915 million through the private placement of approximately 85.7 million shares to Ayar Third Investment Company, an affiliate of the Public Investment Fund.
The company aims to use the funding for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures and working capital.
