Recall.ai, a provider of a unified API for meeting bots, raised USD 2.7 million in a seed funding round, joined by Y Combinator, Cathexis Ventures, Pioneer Fund, Rebel Fund, Bungalow Capital, SV Tech Ventures, and Starling Ventures, as well as individual investors such as David Cramer (CTO, Sentry), Brian Vallelunga (CEO, Doppler), Mike Adams (CEO, Grain), and Austen Allred (CEO, BloomTech).
The funding will be used for the expansion of Recall’s API, by adding more video conferencing and telephony system integrations.
Founded in 2022, Recall.ai offers a unified API to create and operate bots compatible with platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, with the ability to access meeting data including real-time video, audio, and participant activity. The product, currently in private beta, has ~50 customers from multiple industries — sales, customer support, hiring, user research, translation, education, and healthcare.
