ADDMAN Engineering, a provider of on-demand additive manufacturing (AM) services, announced the acquisition of Dinsmore & Associates, Inc (Dinsmore), a provider of polymer 3D printing services to broaden and complement polymer production capabilities.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
According to ADDMAN, the acquisition will help to expand its offerings in the medical industry.
Dinsmore currently operates with more than 35 3D printers that utilize different technologies such as multi-jet fusion (MJF), PolyJet, digital light synthesis (DLS), digital light processing (DLP), stereolithography (SLA), fused filament fabrication (FFF), and fused deposition modeling (FDM).
Analyst QuickTake: This is ADDMAN’s fifth acquisition over the past two years including Castheon (January 2022) to expand refractory metal printing solutions, Harbec (November 2022) to expand metal and plastic printing solutions, Domaille Engineering (December 2021) to expand their presence in aerospace and defense industries, and 3rd Dimension (April 2021) to expand metal printing capabilities.
