Dash Water raises GBP 8.7 million in Series A funding

Funding

  • Dash Water (Dash), a UK-based company that produces upcycled sparkling water drinks made from fruits and vegetables, raised GBP 8.7 million (~USD 10.8 million) in a Series A funding round led by private equity firm Beringea, with participation from Johnny Sexton (Irish rugby captain), David Milner (Dash chairman), and others.

  • The company intends to use the funds to support Dash's growth and expansion plans—which include increasing production and distribution—and investing in R&D. Dash also hopes to expand its presence in Australia and enter new markets throughout Europe.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The company has set a clear vision to grow its global reach. In its previous funding round in January 2022 , the funds raised are aimed to support Dash's growth in Australia, widen its distribution network, and increase the number of subscribers.
