Berlin-based startup, Kittl, has raised EUR 10.8 million (~USD 11.6 million) in Series A funding, led by Left Lane Capital and featured participation from Speedinvest and angel investors such as Des Traynor (founder of Intercom), Shaan Puri (former CEO of Bebo), and product leaders from Calm, Amazon, and Instagram.
The funds will be used particularly for product development to boost its AI and machine-learning efforts.
Kittl, which started as Heritage Type in 2020, offers browser-based graphic design tools for creating logos, labels, postcards, and more. The company aims to make complex design processes simple and accessible.
