TAE Technologies, a fusion energy developer, has formed a new subsidiary known as TAE Power Solutions. This subsidiary is developing a unique technology platform derived from fusion research to improve the reliability, efficiency, longevity, and affordability of electric-powered products, including EVs and renewable energy storage.
TAE Power Solutions has appointed Kedar Munipella as its Chief Executive Officer. The company has also made two strategic acquisitions in the UK. The first is Sprint Power, a transport electrification specialist focusing on electrical systems integration and high voltage driveline. The second is Eltrium, a design and manufacturing company that produces energy storage systems, power distribution, and electronic assemblies.
Through these acquisitions, TAE Power Solutions gained access to existing projects such as APC18 CELERITAS , a program for advanced battery systems with BMW and other project partners.
