Meditation and mindfulness provider, TRIPP, has partnered with fellow mindfulness provider, Equa Health, to develop clinically validated mindfulness training modules, known as “experiences.” Equa Health, a spin-off from Carnegie Mellon University, will help TRIPP develop extended reality training modules that will cover the core areas of concentration power, equanimity (or calmness), and sensory clarity.
Through the partnership, an introductory series will be offered on TRIPP’s platform and will combine TRIPP’s AR/VR platform with Equa Health’s clinical research in mindfulness. After the launch, the companies will gather feedback from users to determine how to expand the series, build clinical trials that measure a user’s mental health over time, and identify potential use cases of the experiences.
The launch date of the experiences or introductory series has not been disclosed.
