Moov, a money movement infrastructure provider, has raised USD 45 million in Series B funding led by Commerce Ventures, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Bain Capital Ventures (BCV), Visa, and Sorenson Ventures. This round brings the company’s total funds raised to USD 77.5 million.
The funds will be invested in recruitment, refining and scaling the platform, and expanding into new payment cases.
Moov offers a cloud-native, full-stack, API-based infrastructure for banks and financial institutions (FIs) to accept, store, and disburse money. Its infrastructure encompasses issuing and managing payment cards, accepting payments through ACH transfers, and handling transactions through its “Moov Wallets,” its digital wallet offering. It also allows business users to monetize payments by offering fees for wallet transactions.
