NT-Tao raises USD 22 million in funding

Funding

  • NT-Tao, an Israel-based nuclear fusion energy company, has raised USD 22 million in a Series A funding round led by Delek US and NextGear Ventures. This brings the company’s total funding to USD 28 million.

  • The company plans to use the funds to expand its team, accelerate prototype developments, and build its new research facility.

  • Emerging from stealth in 2022, NT-Tao is pioneering a new approach to fusion. The company claims that its proprietary ultra-fast plasma-heating method will enable it to reach 1,000x higher density than other fusion reactors, making its fusion reaction one million times more effective and resulting in significantly greater efficiency of energy production than other solutions available.
