Sendinblue, an all-in-one marketing platform, announced that it has acquired Captain Wallet, a mobile wallet marketing platform, for an undisclosed amount.
With the acquisition, Sendinblue plans to leverage Captain Wallet's mobile wallet marketing expertise and technology to broaden its reach internationally. Following the acquisition, Captain Wallet will continue to operate independently with the intention of utilizing Sendinblue's global reach to accelerate its geographic expansion, mainly in the US and Germany.
Based in France, Captain Wallet enables brands to deliver real-time updates to customers via mobile devices by dematerializing marketing materials like loyalty cards. The solution is automated, geolocated, and employs native Apple Wallet and Google Wallet applications. Each digital card in the wallet can be personalized, enabling brands to better engage with clients by informing them of offers that are pertinent to their individual interests. The platform serves 200 brands worldwide, including Lacoste, Decathlon, Jacadi, Etam, Intersport, Celio, Courir, Guerlain, Sephora, McDonald's, Franprix, Carrefour, and Picard.
