Taboola, an AI-powered content discovery platform, announced that it has entered an exclusive partnership with TIME, a global media brand, to launch “Taboola Turnkey Commerce,” which allows premium publishers to create trustworthy content that helps readers make informed purchase decisions.
The platform will be hosted exclusively on TIME’s website and will present readers with premium editorial content of tested and reviewed products and services. It will also create a revenue source for publishers that capitalizes on readers with high purchase intent. Additionally, it enables retailers, financial services providers, and advertisers to reach a global audience of 100 million potential buyers in an organic manner within a trusted environment.
Taboola believes that consumers are looking for alternatives to walled garden platforms and are turning to open web solutions such as Taboola, expecting e-commerce to account for a third of a publisher's revenue.
