Dronamics raises USD 40 million in pre-Series A funding

Funding

  • Dronamics, a UK and Bulgaria-based middle-mile cargo drone manufacturer, raised USD 40 million in a pre-Series A funding round from venture capital firms and angel investors, including Founders Factory, Speedinvest, Eleven Capital, and the Strategic Development Fund (SDF), the investment arm of the Tawazun Council, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This brings the company’s total funds raised to USD 59.6 million.

  • The investment from the SDF will allow Dronamics to establish a UAE-based joint venture to facilitate operations in the UAE as a hub for the Middle East and North Africa.
