Leaf Logistics launches Flex Fleets, following a successful pilot

Product updates

  • Leaf Logistics, an online freight platform, has announced the launch of Flex Fleets, a multi-shipper dedicated trucking fleet, operating across several regions across the US.

  • Flex Fleets allows shippers and carriers to enter secure, longer-term contracts thereby helping carriers and brokers access long-term schedules and budget certainty. The service is an extension of Leaf’s freight-matching platform and leverages the company’s Leaf Adapt technology to analyze, track, and coordinate shipper data.

  • Flex Fleets claims it can reduce shipping costs by eliminating 76% of empty miles associated with unloaded trucks driving on the road.

  • Flex Fleets was piloted throughout 2022 and has expanded in markets across the US over the past six months. The current customers of the service include shippers such as Johnson & Johnson, BASF, and Party City. Leaf plans to scale Flex Fleets to serve all major US markets by the end of the year.
