Faction Technology commercially extends its autonomous technologies for OEMs and other customers

Product updates

  • Faction Technology (Faction), an autonomous delivery vehicle (ADV) developer, has announced the expanded commercial availability of its autonomous technology, “DriveLink,” and remote human teleoperation system, “TeleAssist,” to OEM and other customers.

  • DriveLink and TeleAssist-powered vehicle platforms developed by Faction and its partners will be available for less than USD 35,000. The company will also offer the technology separately to be integrated into OEM customers’ own vehicles as a white-labeled product for less than USD 15,000 per vehicle.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Faction already has partnerships with OEMs ElectraMeccanica and Arcimoto to integrate its tech with vehicle platforms. In addition to commercially offering these platforms and technology, the company also operates its own fleet of vehicles for last-mile delivery automation. In fact, Faction started customer trials in late 2022 in San Francisco Bay Area, California, in partnership with a bakery.
