CHOOOSE partners with JetBlue to source SAF

Partnerships

  • CHOOOSE, a Norwegian carbon offset solutions provider, announced a strategic partnership with JetBlue, an airline provider, to scale up the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

  • The partnership allows JetBlue customers to contribute towards SAF adoption, by integrating the CHOOOSE carbon offset platform. The platform enables customers to estimate the CO2 emissions of their flights while making contributions toward a fund that covers the cost premium of SAF over conventional jet fuel. Thereby, this supports the growth of SAF across the aviation industry.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This partnership with CHOOOSE builds on JetBlue’s previously announced JetBlue Sustainable Travel Partners (JSTP) program for JetBlue Corporate Travel customers. This program has enabled organizations to reduce their CO2 emissions through the purchase of JetBlue-issued SAF certificates, while also addressing Scope 3 emissions. Since the launch of this project in January 2022, JetBlue has issued SAF certificates to source over 1.6 million gallons of SAF.
