Monday.com, an Israeli workplace collaboration platform, established a new regional headquarters in Sydney to further expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
The company states that this decision was prompted by the 76% YoY growth in its Australian workforce in 2022, which now counts over 13,000 customers, including Canva, Tourism Australia, Officeworks, and Kmart. Revenue from the Australian market also saw a 50% YoY growth in FY2022, contributing to its YoY total revenue increase of 68% during FY2022.
Monday.com plans to localize its platform for the Australian market by prioritizing sectors such as retail, marketing, project and portfolio management, and manufacturing. It also has local channel partners and offices in New Zealand, Singapore, and Japan.
Analyst QuickTake: This announcement follows Monday.com’s previous expansion efforts in Europe by setting up a headquarters in London in April 2022 , and subsequently opening an office in Japan in October 2022 to establish its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
