EasyPark Group, a leading smart parking solutions provider in Europe, has announced its acquisition of MPLA, the largest mobile parking operator in the Czech Republic, for an undisclosed amount.

Through the acquisition, EasyPark can expand its mobile parking management services to a wider audience of drivers and parking operators in Central Europe. This includes expanding its presence in Slovakia, where EasyPark has been operating since May 2022. 

MPLA operates in the mobile parking sector, providing digital parking services for cities and parking operators in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Its main focus is on the digitalization of parking services, enabling customers to easily access and manage parking services through its proprietary technology. 

Additionally, the company stated that over the past five years, EasyPark Group has experienced a compounded annual transaction growth rate of 60%. This has helped the company to reach ~45 million yearly users. 

Analyst QuickTake: This marks the 20th acquisition for the company where EasyPark Group has been expanding its presence by making strategic acquisitions, resulting in its services being available in over 20 countries and 3,200 cities worldwide. The company provides one of the most comprehensive parking and mobility app coverages in the digital parking services industry, with operations spanning Europe, the US, and Australia. The acquisition of PARK NOW Group in June 2021, which includes ParkMobile, has significantly grown the company's user base and transaction volumes over the past five years.
