Blink Charging rebrands EB Charging as Blink Charging UK

  • Blink Charging, a Nasdaq-listed EV charging station developer, is rebranding EB Charging (which it acquired in April 2022 ) to Blink Charging UK. This will expand the company’s visible footprint to over 1,225 chargers in the UK and Ireland.

  • The rebranding includes updates to existing EB Charging branded chargers, the EV driver mobile app, website, and external sales and marketing assets.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Blink Charging acquired Electric Blue Ltd. (EB Charging) for USD 23.4 million through its wholly-owned European subsidiary, Blink Holdings BV. This was the company’s first entry into the UK. Following this, the company also acquired SemaConnect in June 2022. Overall the company has sold, deployed, or installed 66,478 chargers globally as of March 2023 .
