AML3D partners with Phillips Corporation to improve access to the US defense sector

Partnerships

  • AML3D, an Australian developer of additive manufacturing solutions, signed an exclusive US value-added reseller agreement with Phillips Corporation, a manufacturer and sales partner to the US federal government including the US Navy, Air Force, and Army.

  • AML3D's sales team in the US will also collaborate with Phillips' federal sales division to jointly sell and utilize Phillips' well-established connections with the US Department of Defence (DOD).

  • Through the agreement, Phillips will earn a margin (the difference between sale price to the end customer and AML3D’s wholesale price). The agreement is renewable and valid for 18 months.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This news comes just two months after AML3D sold a large-scale ARCEMY X- Edition 6700 system to the US DOD through a procurement agent, in line with its US market entry strategy. Last month, it also entered a contract with the DOD for an alloy characterization and testing program supporting the US Navy submarine industrial base.
