CropX, a crop management platform developer providing predictions on soil and weather, has raised USD 30 million in a Series C funding round led by Aliaxis SA, a Belgium-based company specialized in tailor-made plastic piping solutions. Investors Edaphon, Finistere Ventures, NTT Finance Corporation, OurCrowd, Reinke Irrigation, Yair Shamir, and Victrix also joined the round.
The company plans to use funds for developing its agronomic farm management system and acquiring companies with complementary technologies and market reach. Aliaxis and CropX also plan to continue working together on data-driven precision irrigation.
