Hawkr, a platform that offers a digital space for live music merchandise, has secured GBP 260,000 (~USD 322,000) in seed funding. The funding round was led by Jenson Funding Partners, along with other investors.
The company plans to use the funds to improve its platform and add new features using data-driven solutions. Additionally, they aim to expand their partnership network within the music industry.
Hawkr is a digital platform for merchandising at live shows that allows artists to set up digital merchandise stands and merchandise lines specific to each show or tour they perform at. Fans can purchase merchandise either before, during, or after shows and the platform also facilitates doorstep delivery of merchandise. Currently, 150 artists are using the platform.
