Farm. One partners with Surna for HVAC system design

Partnerships

  • Farm. One, an indoor vertical farming company, has partnered with Surna Cultivation Technologies (Surna), a leader in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) systems engineering and technologies, for a holistic heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system design for Farm. One’s New York-based vertical farming facility.

  • Under this environmental control equipment contract, Surna’s engineering team, which leverages indoor agriculture climate control technologies and mechanical engineering capabilities, has already started to select and size HVAC equipment that will best fit Farm. One’s facility and cultivation goals.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Farm. One's partnership with Surna highlights the company's commitment to expanding its indoor vertical farming capabilities in New York. This announcement follows Farm. One securing long-term growth capital to reopen its Neighborhood Farm in Brooklyn, which resumed its first weekly harvests of greens and salad mixes in February 2023.
