Full Harvest expands its online marketplace to include USDA Grade 1 produce

Product updates

  • Full Harvest, a B2B platform for large-scale farmers to trade surplus food to food and beverage companies, has expanded its online marketplace to include all USDA Grade 1 produce (produce that maintains uniform quality and cosmetic standards for consumers) for commercial buyers and sellers. This move makes Full Harvest the leading online marketplace for all grades of produce, including surplus and imperfect items.

  • Alongside access to all USDA Grade 1 produce, other key features of the marketplace include transparency, real-time data, increased market matching, reduced carbon footprint, and shipping direct from farms.

  • Analyst Quicktake: Full Harvest has now moved beyond simply trading excess produce to include all produce types. The company’s recent acquisition, FarmersWeb , in November last year, has also supported this expansion. The acquisition gave Full Harvest access to the FarmersWeb technology stack, such as inventory, order management, and online payment infrastructure.
