Plus integrates ADAS system with Bosch integrated steering systems

Partnerships

  • Plus (formerly Plus.ai), an autonomous truck manufacturer, has announced a partnership with German multinational engineering and technology company Bosch to integrate its advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), PlusDrive, with the Bosch integrated steering systems.

  • L2++ trucks equipped with PlusDrive include a predictive 360-degree surround perception system and provide partial automation in order to assist drivers with acceleration, braking, and steering. PlusDrive’s automated driving features includes traffic jam assist, merge handling, driver-initiated and suggested lane change, over-the-air updates, lane nudge, sensor self-calibration, driver attentiveness, and detection.  The system, when integrated with Bosch’s technology, enhances features such as driver retention, fuel economy savings, and assistance capabilities to help reduce accidents.

  • Bosch also offers advanced engineering services of its Bosch Engineering team for the combined solution offered to commercial vehicle truck manufacturers. The services offered include vehicle integration, security, and safety-related features.
