Aleph Farms, a cell-cultured meat startup, has entered a long-term agreement with Thermo Fisher Scientific (TFS), an industry leader in scientific research and materials, to establish a supply chain for cell-culture growth media.

Through the agreement, TFS will leverage its expertise to produce and supply selected Aleph Farms’ growth media formulations at scale, allowing Aleph Farms to have access to reliable and cost-effective growth media that meet regulatory standards.

Further, the companies will work toward long-term stability in the growth media supply chain, providing the necessary conditions for scaled production and achieving price parity with conventional meats.
