OTTO Motors receives strategic investment from Mitsubishi Electric

Funding

  • Canadian provider of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) OTTO Motors’ parent company Clearpath Robotics has received a strategic investment from the Japanese factory automation solutions provider, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. The amount of the investment was not disclosed.

  • The investment enhances the strategic partnership between OTTO Motors and Mitsubishi Electric, further solidifying their commercial collaboration.

  • Analyst QuickTake : This news comes just several weeks after OTTO Motors announced its formal expansion into the European market. The company has also entered systems integration and tech partnerships with several companies in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
