Shopic, an Israel-based developer of smart cart solutions, has announced a partnership with Microsoft Experience Center for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to display Shopic’s smart cart technology at the Experience Center in Munich.
Shopic’s solution will be demonstrated in the recently relaunched grocery retail tech area in the Munich facility. Shopic and Microsoft are also in discussions to expand the collaboration to other Experience Center locations.
The two companies also recently partnered during the EuroShop conference in Dusseldorf and at the National Retail Federation's flagship conference, during which Shopic displayed its solutions at Microsoft Cloud for Retail booths.
Shopic is one of only two Microsoft partner organizations currently included in the grocery retail area relaunch.
Analyst QuickTake : The partnership will expand Shopic’s reach to a wider European customer base, in line with the company’s global expansion plans. Shopic recently raised USD 35 million in a Series B funding round, particularly to expand its presence across the globe. Shopic’s technology is currently used by supermarket chains across Europe, the US, and Israel.
