Revolut, a UK-based neobank serving the B2C and B2B segments, has obtained the Direct Credit Society (SCD) license by the Central Bank of Brazil to operate in the country.
The SCD license allows Revolut to broaden its range of offerings and solutions in Brazil, including providing credit using its own assets.
Analyst QuickTake: Revolut launched its services in Brazil earlier this month after having opened offices last September. At launch, it provided bank accounts that support multiple currencies and access to cryptocurrency investments.
