SenseGlove unveils Nova 2 haptic force-feedback gloves; to retail at USD 5,999 and shipping after Q4 2023

Product updates

  • SenseGlove, a provider of haptic force-feedback gloves, has launched the second generation of its haptic gloves, SenseGlove Nova 2, which will be available for shipping in Q4 2023 and priced at USD 5,999. The previous iteration of the Nova gloves is also available at a discounted price of USD 3,999.

  • The SenseGlove Nova 2 enhances user interaction with the digital world through “Active Contact Feedback” and force feedback, providing a realistic sensation when interacting with objects. It simulates various objects, including car steering wheels and laboratory flasks, and is suitable for power tools and objects with strong impact. The gloves offer increased realism for virtual training, research, and social multiplayer interactions, enabling users to feel responses during remote social interactions.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The announcement of the Nova 2 gloves follows the company’s Series A funding round of ~USD 3.6 million in April 2023 , with funds utilized for the development of its hand haptics technology and the opening of a North American office. The outright purchase price of the Nova 2 gloves is higher than HaptX’s G1 haptic feedback gloves (~USD 5,500 with a mandatory monthly subscription cost of ~USD 500 per month), and offers surface simulation features.
